Kidsgrove Bonfire and Firework Display Success

Kidgrove Rotary Club BonfireKidsgrove Rotary Club is reporting a successful bonfire and fireworks display at Clough Hall Park, Kidsgrove.

The Clough Hall Bonfire & Fireworks Display which got underway on Saturday 5th November; the weather was kind enough to stay dry this year. Approximately 2,000 people attended and they witnessed the Bonfire being lit by Kidsgrove Town Mayor Kyle Robinson. The Fireworks Display was again supplied by The UK Fireworks Company and Paul Warwick’s Funfair and Amusements were in full support too. It is estimated that the gross takings on the night were £6,500 most of this will go towards helping local charities, groups and organisations. Our grateful thanks go to the Police Officers and P.C.S.O.’s from Kidsgrove and Newcastle who ensured that the evening passed of peacefully and safely with their polite and efficient operation.
