Kidsgrove Christmas lights will be switched on this year once again following the Victorian Market. The Victorian Market takes place at the Town Hall, Kidsgrove on Saturday 26th November and will be open from 10.00am until the Christmas Lights switch on by Town Mayor Kyle Robinson at 4pm. The Market is fully supported by Kidsgrove Town Council, Kidsgrove Victorian Market Committee, Rotary Club of Kidsgrove, Staffordshire Police, Staffordshire Fire & Rescue Service, Stanworth’s Fairground & Amusements, Tesco, St John Ambulance, Kidsgrove First Responders, etc.
The Christmas tree for the Victoria Hall, Kidsgrove has been provided this year by a local charitable family who wish to remain anonymous. The tree has been with the family for a number of years, having been given originally as a gift by a senior member of the family. Kidsgrove Rotarians and other volunteers transported the tree to the town hall by lorry and erected it in the main front garden area; later the Christmas tree lights were fitted ready for the Christmas Lights switch-on.
