Kidsgrove Carnival 2011


Kidsgrove is getting ready for its annual Town Carnival. The 2011 Kidsgrove Carnival promises to be even bigger and better than last years Kidsgrove Carnival

Kidsgrove Carnival will be held on Saturday the 16th of July at Clough Hall Park in Kidsgrove. The current weather outlook is good for the day ahead making it the perfect family day out. Kidsgrove Carnival has been organised by members of the Town Council and local residents who have formed a carnival committee.

Staffordshire County Councillor and Kidsgrove Town Councillor Mary Maxfield, who is also the Kidsgrove Carnival Committee secretary told Whitehill Online that the event is on course to be bigger and better than last year. This year residents can expect to see the following at Kidsgrove Carnival:


There will be a procession leaving BT Car Park in Kidsgrove at 10 am with up top 200 people will taking part.

  • Abracadabra/punch and judy/balloon man
  • Rock Climbing Frame
  • Medieval Archery
  • Medieval Wood Turning
  • Land Train
  • Potteries Guinea Pig Rescue
  • Vintage motorcycles
  • Raymond Cross Birds - Owl Display
  • Various charity/association/retail stalls
  • Stanworths Fun Fair
  • Military vehicles

  • Buttermilke Dance Academy display
  • Burslem Gymnastics Club
  • Fire Service display
  • Kidsgrove Community Chair
  • Scarlett Spitfires Dance Troupe including competition with 10 troupes
