Would you like to raise money for your favourite charity, community project or sporting club and get fit and have some fun at the same time? Why not take part in the Gritstone Charity Walk? This year’s event takes place on Saturday July 7th, whatever your level of fitness, there’s a suitable walk for you.
Walkers can choose from 5 different distances – 3.5 miles, 7 miles, 10 miles, 16 miles and 22 miles depending on their level of fitness. All walks start and finish at the Bleeding Wolf pub in Scholar Green (ST7 3BQ)
They all pass through beautiful countryside along the North Staffordshire and South Cheshire border.
There’s a small entry fee for each of the walks and walkers are also encouraged to raise money through sponsorship, although this is not obligatory.
For more details of the walks and how to enter, obtain a sponsorship form and poster (as required), go to www.gritstonewalk.org.uk or phone 01782 776547. A walker’s pack is sent to all entrants when they submit their entry form.
